WARNING
If you like my art or in what I do but do not care about my personal talks then you have no need to read any of the stuff below. Thank you for visiting my blog and please come back another time. :)

Due to the recent bad experiences, I have to address this more seriously (and to be put on my sidebar).
If you hate me, you probably will try to find mistake in me saying this issue and say “Don’t be a paranoid! Nobody care about your personal talk.”
*shrug* I need to say these facts so if anybody tries to pick on me, I will be able to say that I do understand my rights.

Facts about copyright that I found from wikipedia that I want to highlight:
Copyright is a set of exclusive rights granted to the author or creator of an original work, including the right to copy, distribute and adapt the work. Copyright does not protect ideas, only their expression or fixation. In most jurisdictions copyright arises upon fixation and does not need to be registered.

And a good fact from DeviantArt (where thieves often found their stolen images :D)
Can I use the images I find on deviantART?
All original works on deviantART are the legal property of the submitting artist. If you want to use a work you need to ask for permission from the artist, who is free to set whatever terms and conditions they wish. Permission should be obtained regardless of how you plan to use the work but especially if you plan to use it commercially.
DeviantART possesses no ownership claim in any submission and cannot grant you any license or permission for use.

I do ORIGINAL art especially in illustrations and design. No matter how simple it may look, I would be happy if my hard work is being appreciated. (Believe me, sometimes simpler things are harder to make.)
As an artist myself (if I may call myself as one :) ) I don’t like my artwork to be copied, especially if there’s no credit given.
When I get inspirations, I always try to credit back. Not because I am trying to “steal-traffic” but as my friend often say, “It’s a good habit to do so and so later on nobody can pick on you.” I do admit that I myself sometimes just too tired or even forget to do so. If you do find one that I forget to credit back, I apologized and please let me know so I can correct my mistake.

In miniature world, things got trickier when some people are expecting “realism” in the minis. And with printed images, it will involve copyright or even more complicated issues.
It will not be an issue if they are just for personal use or shared among friends. But the wrong thing comes from my recent accident, where the fiend believes that he/she can sell anything found on the web without any permission.

Sucks that someone stole your image! Did you think about putting a watermark on? It kinda spoils the look of things but it might stop people using it as their own. I hope it doesn't put you off, your illustrations are lovely.

Upps, sorry that I forgot to reply to your comment. Thank you for your encouragement. :)
It is a complicated thing actually, coz the thief can just find other way to remove the watermark or use other way sadly.
My other reasoning to not put my illustrations down is so people at least can found me easily (as a proof that I am the original creator). :)
